5 Incredibly Useful Podcasts (for online business owners)

5 Incredibly Useful Podcasts (for online business owners)

There’s so much information to learn (and learn quickly) when growing your online course business.

When I first started, I wish there was someone who would just give it to me straight rather than making it seem as if it were so easy that my 80-year old grandmother could do it.

While it’s great to have content you can sit and read to learn about creating and marketing an online course, you need an option to learn on the go.

Whether you’re at the gym, walking your dog, or in the car, you can learn all about the strategies that go into a profitable online course business with some incredibly useful podcasts for online course entrepreneurs.

After scouring Apple Podcasts and binging several podcasts over the past six-months, here are my top five picks to help you grow your online course business:

The Get Paid Podcast

“The podcast that’s dedicated to giving you an honest look at the reality of running an online business.”

Even after several years, this is one of my most favorite podcast out there. This podcast is hosted by Claire Pelletreau and what I love about it is the raw honesty of the show. So many online marketers paint a rosy picture on social media, but we know that behind the scenes, things are much different.

The Course Creator’s MBA Podcast

This podcast is dedicated to helping online course and membership owners grow their online business with evergreen sales funnels. If you have an online course or membership business tune in for actionable tips that you can implement right away.

If you’d like a Spotify playlist that cover our episodes on evergreen sales funnels and how you can use them in your online business to sell your digital product (online course or membership) on autopilot, go here to subscribe.

The Content Experiment

This podcast is Abby Herman and focuses on the idea that content and marketing are ever-moving targets in any business, and it's okay if you don't feel like you're doing it all right all of the time. Abby helps business owners with podcast content management and her podcast episodes and interviews that prove that it's not about what the big marketing brands and online gurus think is the right thing.

Not For Lazy Marketers

First, I have to say that I love the name of this podcast. Emily tells us like it is and let’s us know that marketing is not easy and you have to put in the hard work if you want success in life and business.

Emily runs an ads agency so she has good insights into what’s work and what’s not working today in marketing and paid advertising. If you need a kick in the seat of your pants to get moving, Emily is the one to put in your ear buds.

Summit Host Hangout

If you’re thinking of hosting a virtual summit at anytime in the near future, you need to go binge this one.

This podcast is hosted by Krista Miller of Summit In A Box and she dives deep into what it takes to launch an online summit. Everything from discovering your summit idea to the strategies that go into hosting a profitable, value-packed virtual summit. The best part? You don't have to be an influencer to make it happen.
