Why? Because I’ve learned the hard way, through trial and error, the keys to building a profitable digital product business that gives me the freedom and flexibility to live life on my own terms. Today, I own and manage several successful digital product businesses without being glued to my desk or at the mercy of a booked-out calendar. But it wasn’t always like this.
A few years ago, on a family vacation in Watercolor, Florida, I got a message that a client wasn’t happy with their Facebook ads. As I watched my family head to the beach while I stayed in our rental to work on my client’s ads, I knew something had to change. I’d already traded the business suit and pantyhose to be my own boss, first working remotely as a college marketing professor, then launching my own service-based business. I thought I’d found the secret to working on my terms, but here I was missing out on jumping in the waves with my kids.
That’s when I realized I was sacrificing the freedom and flexibility I’d worked so hard to protect. The minute I got home I went all out building my digital product businesses so I wasn’t trading time for money anymore.
I knew I needed a different kind of revenue stream to the service-based model, one that didn’t require live launches, back-to-back Zoom calls, or having to turn up on someone else’s schedule. I was willing to put in the work, but I was determined to do it on my terms. I refused to believe this was as good as it got. I was going to rewrite the narrative.
So, I started adding online courses to my business and now have over 12,000 students enrolled. Freedom came in adopting a fully asynchronous business model. Now, I run several digital product businesses, host the Creator’s MBA Podcast, and I’m a business growth coach for digital product entrepreneurs—all remotely, all on my schedule.

The day I got off the corporate hamster wheel, I was choosing freedom and flexibility. Two values which have become non-negotiable for me. My businesses have changed, but these two values never will.
I help my clients build profitable digital product businesses that do not rely on live launching, social media algorithms, or being glued to their desks constantly on live Zoom calls.
I’m allergic to Hype
I’m a pretty calm person, but if anything makes me mad, it’s influencers on Tiktok claiming you can make thousands per month just using Canva and ChatGPT. I will be the straight-talking, no BS voice in your head.
“Passive” doesn’t mean you don’t have to work. Building your profitable digital product business is going to take work, but it’s possible for it to be the type of work you WANT to do, and most importantly, WHEN and WHERE you want to do it!
I’m the queen of Trial and Error
My clients constantly hear me say things like “Don’t worry about failures, worry about chances you miss if you don’t try” or “just because it worked for someone else, doesn’t mean it’s right for you.”
My coaching is all about figuring out what aligns with your business and life, and being willing to pivot. Marketing isn’t a pure science, it takes trial and error. But I’m here to shorten that learning curve for you by saving you some of the headaches I‘ve been through.
