As we jump into the show today, the question I have for you is this. Do you ever wonder that you have the right lead magnet for your online course, one that attracts action takers and not freebie seekers? Or maybe you know, based on your data or your limited list growth, that you're current PDF Giveaway is just not doing its job and growing your e-mail list and finding future students for your online course.

Or maybe perhaps you've just outgrown your current free offer and you need to refresh your list building efforts with the new and updated. Or they have a Facebook ad lead magnet. And if that's the case, you're in the right place, because today we're talking all about my personal favorite.

Lead magnets for digital course creators and your lead magnet is important because it's what you will use to take your new e-mail subscriber on what we call in marketing, which is the buyer's journey. Your new e-mail subscriber is typically not ready to buy from you right away when they sign up for your e-mail list.

They need some time to get to know you and to understand how you can help them solve their main problem. And your lead magnet will help start building this bridge so that when you're ready to sell your online course, they're going to be ready to buy now. You may hurt me, say in the past, and this is something that I teach in our Magic attraction program, that you want a lead magnet that attracts action takers.

And not freebie seekers. And how do you do this? I want you to ask them to invest a tiny bit of their time, because their time is their most valuable asset. And people who are willing to invest just a small amount of time are action takers and are likely to be interested in your future course. So if you need to create a lead magnet for your online course, or maybe you just want to refresh.

ne that you already have, here are my top favorite lead magnets for digital product creators, and the first one is a mini course. And here's why I love mini courses as lead magnets for digital product creators. First of all, it demonstrates your expertise in your field and allows your audience to get to know you as a person and your teaching style.

A mini course has very high value, so automatically they know that you're giving them content that you could charge for and typically you're providing them access to the mini course in your online course platform so they get familiar with you, your platform and how to kind of navigate through your course material.

The other thing is I will say is I've launched many courses in the past as league magnets and then later turned that lead magnet into a low cost digital tripwire product. So there's a ton of things that you can do with this in your business. So that was the first one and the second one is a mini workshop series. Now this is very similar to a mini course, but in this case you're delivering the teaching.

Material via e-mail and maybe even directing them to a landing page where you're hosting these teaching videos and this is another great way for them to get to know you get to know your teaching style and also you're also demonstrating your expertise in the industry. So you're you know you're hitting hitting on all cylinders there, you're so you're going to deliver the content via e-mail and most likely through video.
And that's going to turn your new e-mail subscriber into action takers.

So when they are consuming your video content, they're opening up your emails, right? So you're training them to open up your emails in this mini workshop series, and that turns them into action takers. My third favorite lead magnet for digital product creators is an audio training.

Now this can be a series of audio trainings, or just one simple audio lesson and one way to deliver this audio training is through Hello Audio. This is a tool that you can use. And what basically what happens here. When your new subscriber signs up and they subscribe to your private podcast feed and you're doing all of this through Hello Audio, they're going to get access to your audio league magnet.

Through their favorite podcast player. So there's a link that you'll give them. They'll pull up the link and from that link they'll be able to select like Google Podcast, Apple Podcast, or whatever their, you know, whatever their favorite podcast player is. This makes it super convenient for them to take action and to listen to your audio training basically while they're doing anything right while they're working out, while they're commuting in their car, even working around their house, walking their dog, they're just, you know, listening to it on Apple Podcast or Google Podcasts. It's a easy, easy way for them to digest the information in your lead magnet.

Now, another one that I love for digital product creators is a quiz. And what I love about quizzes is that not only are they engaging, they're fun. So people love to kind of take on they're likely to sign up, but you can also use them to segment your e-mail list.

or instance, let's assume that you have an online course portfolio of several different courses where you help parents with their kids and their home life and all the craziness that goes on there. You could use a quiz to understand where they need help and then use that information to point them to resources that are very specific to their needs. This allows you to offer paid resources to individual who are likely to buy.

Because they have raised their hand and said, yes, I need help in this area. So there you go.
